Armin van Buuren Drops a New Album “Breathe In”

Date:

Dance music maestro Armin van Buuren has masterfully blended introspection with intensity in his latest studio offering, “Breathe In.”

The renowned trance icon’s ninth album, a follow-up to the 2023 Feel Again trilogy, emerges as a vibrant testament to reconnecting with fans and embracing life after the challenges of the post-pandemic era.

Intricately crafted with a focus on strengthening the enduring bond he shares with his dedicated audience, “Breathe In” consists of 12 tracks that delve into themes of positivity, open-mindedness, and unity. Van Buuren emphasizes the album’s ability to unite souls and spirits through its sound, urging listeners to celebrate life, find light in others, and (re)connect on dance floors.

This album marks a significant shift towards a more cohesive production, elevating the tempo to amplify van Buuren’s grip on the progressive trance scene. Notable tracks such as “Love Is A Drug,” “Lose This Feeling,” and the 2024 A State of Trance Anthem “Destination” showcase this newfound intensity, featuring collaborations with trance heavyweights Rank 1, Ferry Corsten, and Ruben de Ronde.

“Breathe In” also benefits from van Buuren’s close ties within the electronic music community, with collaborations featuring psytrance superstars Vini Vici in “When We Come Alive” (with ALBA) and the Grammy-nominated Goodboys contributing to the Guru-Josh-inspired opening track, “Forever (Stay Like This).”

While offering moments of respite with tracks like “Motive,” “Bed of Rain” (with Mila Josef), and “Fire With Fire” (with HRRTZ and Julia Church), the overall pace of the album is exhilarating. Many of the tracks have already been showcased in van Buuren’s electrifying live performances, a testament to his reputation for delivering high-energy shows.

Closing out “Breathe In” with a burst of adrenaline, van Buuren presents a one-two punch of trance heaters in “Make It Count” (with Just_us) and “Space Case.” These tracks hark back to the harder sounds of trance, featuring pulsating beats and a melodic tie-in that acts as a symphonic ribbon of unity.

Experience the pulsating beats of “Breathe In” now, available on Armin van Buuren’s own Armada imprint. Stream the album for an electrifying auditory journey that encapsulates the essence of the EDM legend’s latest musical endeavor.
